QCD sum rule analysis for light vector and axial - vector mesons in vacuum and nuclear matter ∗ Stefan Leupold
Extending previous work we study the constraints of QCD sum rules on mass and width of light vector and axial-vector mesons in vacuum and in a medium with finite nuclear density. For the latter case especially the effect of nuclear pions leading to vector–axial-vector mixing is included in the analysis. PACS numbers: 14.40.Cs, 21.65.+f, 11.30.Rd, 24.85.+p
متن کاملNote on finite temperature sum rules for vector and axial - vector spectral functions ∗
An updated analysis of vector and axial-vector spectral functions is presented. The resonant contributions to the spectral integrals are shown to be expressible as multiples of 4π 2 f 2 π , encoding the scale of spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking in QCD. Up to order T 2 this behavior carries over to the case of finite temperature.
متن کاملconstruction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents
in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...

A thermal QCD Finite Energy Sum Rule (FESR) is used to obtain the temperature dependence of the axial-vector coupling of the nucleon, gA(T ). We find that gA(T ) is essentially independent of T , in the very wide range 0 ≤ T ≤ 0.9 Tc, where Tc is the critical temperature. While gA at T = 0 is q 2-independent, it develops a q2 dependence at finite temperature. We then obtain the mean square radi...
متن کاملMeasurement of the Strong Coupling Constant αs and the Vector and Axial-Vector Spectral Functions in Hadronic Tau Decays
The spectral functions of the vector current and the axial-vector current have been measured in hadronic τ decays using the OPAL detector at LEP. Within the framework of the Operator Product Expansion a simultaneous determination of the strong coupling constant αs, the non-perturbative operators of dimension 6 and 8 and of the gluon condensate has been performed. Different perturbative descript...
